Playful ground markings to encourage recycling
Boulogne-Billancourt
- 28 Rue Yves Kermen — around 20 m²
- 66 Avenue Pierre Lefaucheux — around 17 m²
Project commissioned by the Ville de Boulogne-Billancourt aiming to raise environmental awareness among the residents of Boulogne-Billancourt through playful ground markings encouraging selective waste sorting.
The concept behind these murals reflects the duality of human impact on the planet — both destructive and regenerative.
The human hand, central and oversized in the composition, symbolizes our immense influence over nature. Yet, it is not solely a force of harm: it also represents our power to repair.
By grasping and guiding waste toward the appropriate containers, the hand becomes a metaphor for responsibility and change.
Through these images, the project invites viewers to consider the power of individual actions and the legacy we wish to leave behind.
